CNA on call
Description
Home Instead is looking for an experienced CNA to be on call in support of our non medical in home care business. This position will have guaranteed hours, and will also work in the office if not caregiving. The primary role is to cover caregiving shifts that have opened up due to a caregiver calling off.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provide care as assigned on short notice
- Personal care (activities of Daily living)
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Training shifts with new caregivers
- Office work as assigned when not caregiving
- Open availability Monday thru Friday
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- CNA preferred
- 1 year experience with in home care
- Able to drive anywhere in the 3 county area (Moore, Lee, Harnett)
- Willing to work in homes with cats, dogs, or smokers
